KOTA KINABALU: A subsidiary of Alumas Resource Berhad has been identified as currently conducting illegal gold mineral mining operations in Bukit Mantri, Balung Tawau.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to sources, the company under the control of Wullersdorf Resources Sdn Bhd is illegal as the company’s Mining Operation Scheme (SKSPM) Approval Letter has expired since a few days ago.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs announced by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aumas Resources Berhad on Bursa Malaysia on 24\/02\/2025 that the company is operating legally because the SKSPM is valid until 09\/04\/2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo far, there has been no permission to extend operations given by the Department of Minerals and Geosciences Malaysia for the company,\u201d he told Sabah News Today.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, one of the investors, who only wanted to be known as Mr Tan, the CEO of Aumas Resources Berhad should make an announcement about the company\u2019s SKSPM status.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey should not remain silent because the impact will be on investors.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Security Commission should also look at this matter seriously and suspend the Aumas counter if there are allegations,\u201d he explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, this activity is seen as an attempt to conspire with offenders on the Stock Exchange, causing a loss of investor confidence.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI will report this matter directly to the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during the Hari Raya celebration in Tawau in the near future.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis company has been identified as having failed to prove the right to use the EIA approval which actually belongs to Southsea Gold Sdn Bhd,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the same period, Alumas Resource Berhad Chief Executive Officer Chong Tzu Khen misled investors by giving inaccurate statements. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTo date, no action has been taken by the Security Commission despite the many offences committed by Alumas Resource Berhad,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a similar development, Sabah News Today was informed that the concession owner will file a civil suit and seek a court order to stop Wullersdorf Resources\u2019 mining operations.<\/span><\/p>\n
