KUALA LUMPUR: Ahli Parlimen Simpang Renggam Dr Maszlee Malik berkata, beliau telah menyerahkan kembali kenderaan Toyota Vellfire yang sebelum ini dikatakan diterimanya dari sebuah syarikat di bawah Kementerian Pendidikan (KPM) semasa menjadi menteri.<\/p>\n

\u201cSaya telah serahkan kereta yang mereka sebutkan itu pada hari saya berhenti,\u201d katanya, lapor Utusan Malaysia.<\/p>\n

\u201cKenderaan itu milik EMGS, yang merupakan agensi KPM, atau sekarang di bawah Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi.
\n\u201cSaya hanya gunakan kenderaan itu sewaktu saya masih seorang menteri. Kereta itu dipulangkan dan terus digunakan oleh Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif EMGS.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kata Maszlee, beliau kini menggunakan sebuah Perodua Myvi sebagai kenderaan rasminya.<\/p>\n

Beberapa media memetik sumber sebelum ini melaporkan, Maszlee didakwa menerima Vellfire tersebut serta sejumlah wang dari sebuah syarikat semasa beliau menjadi menteri.<\/p>\n
